If you’ve never been to Orange Beach Invasion in Orange Beach, Alabama, it’s hard to describe the full scene until you’re standing in the middle of it. The show was packed with high-impact builds, from massive lift kits and forged wheels to over-the-top lighting and sound systems. Mixed in were rows of lowered trucks and mini trucks, each polished to perfection with a serious show-and-shine focus.

Big Builds, Bigger Takeaways

Over 70,000 enthusiasts came through The Wharf, turning this event into a living, breathing snapshot of today’s truck culture.  Every direction you turned, there were trucks with towering lift kits, forged wheels, bold lighting setups, and sound systems that shook the pavement. Right next to them? Clean, purpose-built rigs made for the everyday—trucks that get the job done during the week and still turn heads on the weekend. That mix of form and function is exactly where Rough Country fits in. Sometimes, that means full custom. Sometimes, it means adding parts that make sense—improving performance, durability, or making your truck more enjoyable to drive.

What We Brought to the Show

Our booth stood out for all the right reasons, drawing a steady stream of folks who knew what they were after and came ready to talk builds, parts, and what’s next for their trucks.

On display:

  • 2025 Chevy 1500, fully outfitted with:
    • New 20” chrome wheels
    • Hard roll-up bed cover
    • Color-matched fender flares
  • A new display rack featuring:
    • All shock and strut series
    • Control arms
    • Suspension components

This setup wasn’t just about showing off but about starting conversations. We had real talks with builders of all experience levels—from first-time lift kit buyers to seasoned pros dialing in the perfect stance.

In the Parking Lot

While the show trucks were impressive, the real Rough Country footprint was out in the lots.

Trucks we saw again and again:

  • F-150s
  • F-250s
  • Chevy 1500s and 2500s
  • Ford Broncos, most running our spare tire relocation and reinforcement kit

These weren’t show builds. They were driven, used, and personalized by owners who wanted function, style, and value—the same values we build into every product.

And while we didn’t have a huge number of Rough Country-equipped rides in the center ring, we saw plenty of our parts outside the ropes. That tells us everything we need to know: we’re already part of how people are building their trucks.

What We Heard at The Wharf

The best part of Orange Beach Invasion? Talking to customers face-to-face.

  • Younger builders, especially those in the 18-25 range, were excited to see us there. They came by the booth asking about future products, telling us what they already run, and sharing their build plans.

·         Older attendees appreciated the practical side of what we offer—clean, functional upgrades that don’t overcomplicate the truck. Many of the older attendees told us that this is their kind of truck: Practical…… or should we say Practicool

  • There was real interest in what’s coming, especially our lowering kits, which we teased at the show.
  • We also got several questions about custom power step setups and shared ideas around custom foam inserts and mounting solutions.

The big takeaway? There’s a wide range of builds happening, and people are looking for gear that fits their budget and their goals.
