LifestyleRough Country Joins the Fun at Mud Nationals: A Week of Off-Road Adventure, Racing, and Product Showcasing

Mud Nationals is hosted and facilitated by Highlifter, with Polaris as the presenting sponsor. Launched in 2003 and born out of the ambition to get the UTV and ATV community together, this event has become nationally known for its turnout and engagement. It has grown into an event that hosts industry-leading brands, professional mud racing, and a gathering for all the biggest names in the space. Vendor village was filled with manufacturers in attendance, which include: Can-Am, Polaris, Rough Country, Super ATV, Wheel Pros, Shock Therapy, Gator Waders, Thumper Fab, Yamaha, Rockford Fosgate, Memphis Audio, JTX Forged, I-69 Motorsports, and more.

It's also an event stop for the Southern Bounty Series Mud Race, a 7-event championship series that unifies the rapidly-growing UTV / ATV Mud Bog Racing sport. It puts up over $150,000 in cash and prizes, connecting the best drivers and brands with millions of off-road enthusiasts nationwide. So, as they like to say it, meet us in the mud.

Savine ATV Park has a good amount of rough country and miles to ride. Situated on 3000 acres of land just south of the Toledo Bend Reservoir, this park features over 60 miles of trails, with creeks, hills, and enough mud to keep any enthusiast happy. They have been rated as one of the best ATV parks in Texas, with abundant opportunities. There is something for riders of all skill levels, whether you want to relax with friends and family or push your ride to the limit.

We took three Rough Country machines and RC TRD-Off-road Toyota Tacoma. The machines included the 2017 Can-Am Defender Max XT HD8, 2021 Can-Am Renegade, and 2021 Honda Pioneer. Our RC Toyota Tacoma is built for an overlanding system with products like our aluminum bed rack, 3.5’’ vertex suspension system, hard top tent, high clearance bumper, forged control arms, molle panels, onboard compressor kit, and more.

We also had several products to showcase, including vertex coil over shocks, portable power stations, forged aluminum control arms, pro series winches, recovery gear, axles, windshields, and Black Series LED lights.

This community of off-road enthusiasts is all about having fun, building trucks and machines, and pushing products to their limits in some of the toughest mud elements.
